A Glimpse Into the Process

 

Wow, honestly. I never thought starting a business would be this much work. I trickled into this process roughly 6 months ago and have worked on it nonstop. Add kiddos into the mix? And add a little more chaos and a lot less breaks of free time. I am so thankful for having the best business mentors that also happen to be some of my best friends. People that I have been able to lean on with every question. And trust me, there’s been a LOT of them. 

I started with an idea, an idea I have had in the back of my mind for the last 5 years but I was too scared to fully commit. I sat down, wrote a list a mile long and checked things off left and right. 

 

Now I’m here. LAUNCHED, and ready to kick some butt in helping YOU design the spaces of your dreams.

Now the questions I’m sure I will get a lot are “How does it work?” or “What do you actually do?” Sooooo this blog post is for all of you that have those same questions. 

WHAT DO YOU DO?

I take your spaces that you may be struggling with and help you find the perfect pieces that work in your rooms within your ideal budget. This kinda stuff comes natural to me. I love walking into a space or seeing a photo and immediately envisioning how I could design it and the wonderful styling elements I could fill it with. 

OKAY, BUT IT’S ONLINE? HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY KNOW WHAT TO PUT IN MY SPACE WITHOUT ACTUALLY SEEING IT IN PERSON?

Times are changing, right? Doesn’t it seem like everything is moving into the virtual world? Well….so is design. PHOTOS are key. INFO is key. Every little detail you can provide for me is helpful. The more the merrier. If you think it’s stupid or unnecessary, GIVE IT TO ME. I want to know what you like, what you don’t, your style, the pages you follow, EV REEEE THANNNGGG. This will all be discussed on our initial consult call. 

THEN, IT’S TIME FOR ME TO WORK MY MAGIC.

I will take all the information that you give me and compile together furniture, decor, and any other specifics that you need. I love to go in depth and style the space with decor to show you the possibilities you can add in. Even if you didn’t necessarily need them. I love to be able to give you future inspiration and options for when your time comes to style your space. 

THE QUESTION I ALSO GET IS, “DO YOU BUY THE ITEMS OR DO I?”

The best part of E-Design is that it’s up to YOU when you purchase items. I give you clickable links and you can purchase when the time is right for you BUT I do recommend purchasing as soon as your design deck is delivered because items roll in and out of stock allllll the time. So make sure you are reaching out for design when you are ready to purchase items immediately after, not months later. 

THEN, IT’S EASY! WAIT FOR YOUR PIECES TO GET DELIVERED, REFER BACK TO YOUR DESIGN DECK TO CONFIGURE THE SAME AS YOUR LAYOUT PAGE AND BOOM.

You are good to go. Dummy proof and easy to follow. You are then left with a beautifully designed space that is functional, cozy, and fit to your needs!
